Dr Andrew Hill
Andrew established Range to Reef Environmental in 2009. He has a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Natural Resource Management with over 33 years experience in environmental planning, policy and management.
Andrew’s experience covers both consulting and government roles in Australia and abroad. He has a well established network of contacts in Western Australia.
With a diverse background in a range of terrestrial, coastal and marine settings, Andrew has a broad knowledge and skills base and the capacity to tackle a variety of complex environmental issues.
Andrew has extensive experience in protected area planning, having prepared plans for marine parks and national parks, and indigenous protected areas.
Botanist & GIS Consultant
Rachael completed a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Biology) with Distinction at Curtin University in 1998. She was the top graduate in her year and was awarded the Alcoa Prize for her results.
Rachael has more than 18 years professional experience in invasive species management, flora and vegetation assessment and in various mining industries. Rachael specialises in assessment of impacts relating to flora and vegetation, vegetation mapping and ArcGIS cartography.
Her projects include Environmental Management Plans, Industry Protection (Biosecurity) Plans, Environmental Approvals, Rehabilitation Planning, Wetland Evaluation and Flora and Vegetation Assessment.
Jami has been in the important role of Administrator and Office Manager at Range to Reef Environmental since 2011. Her duties include finance, payroll, accounts and invoicing. Jami coordinates IT and has a key role in marketing being responsible for the Company’s website and other marketing products.
Jami is trained in ArcGIS and assists with spatial management tasks, and assists with consulting projects with technical, field and administration support.
Jami has a broad range of administrative experience with previous positions with the Department of Education, John XXIII College, Western Power, Baptist Care and Southern Cross Care.
Environmental Consultant (Fauna)
Brent has 27 years of experience in the survey and monitoring of both native and introduced fauna throughout Western Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories
He has undertaken many surveys for threatened mammal species and has extensive experience working on introduced species detection and control. He has considerable expertise in the design and application of translocation programs, fauna survey, monitoring and eradication methods.
Brent has led teams into remote locations for many years and has considerable experience in fieldwork logistics. Brent has considerable experience in skills training for prospective fauna handlers.
